Automotive goes to space: OHB System AG, a subsidiary of the space technology group OHB SE, has been awarded a contract by the European Space Agency (ESA) as prime contractor for the “V2X (vehicle-to-everything) - services demonstration over satellite” project, with support from the German Aerospace Center (DLR).

Successful lift-off for the "Arctic Weather Satellite" (AWS): The new weather satellite was launched on a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, USA. Shortly afterwards, it sent its first signal from space. OHB Sweden, a subsidiary of the space and technology group OHB SE, had developed and built the satellite on behalf of the European Space Agency ESA.
