Bremen, 16 November 2023. In recent years, the moon has once again attracted the interest of private and institutional space players as a result of technological developments enabling more diverse possibilities. As a possible stopover for exploration missions into deep space, this celestial body is of elementary importance, and its further exploration and utilization are important steps on the way to a cis-lunar economy.
OHB System AG has joined the Euro2Moon association in order to pool its skills and capabilities with those of other European companies. With contributions in the fields of robotics, logistics and processing, the company will support the common goal of realizing the sustainable use of resources in space (ISRU; In-Situ Resource Utilization). Joining this network was announced at the Space Tech Expo trade fair currently taking place in Bremen.
