Kiel/Bremen, November 13, 2025 – OHB SE, one of Europe’s leading space and technology companies, has been honored with the Swedish Enterprise Award for German investments in Sweden. The award was presented during the 22nd Swedish Enterprise Award ceremony in Germany at a gala event held at the Port of Kiel cruise terminal. Oliver Salisch, Chief Participation Officer at OHB SE, accepted the award and expressed gratitude to the jury for recognizing the achievements of OHB teams in Sweden and Germany.

Since 2003, the Swedish Enterprise Award has been jointly organized by the Swedish Chamber of Commerce, Business Sweden, and the Swedish Embassy. It celebrates companies that strengthen economic relations between Germany and Sweden through investments and partnerships. Alongside categories for Swedish companies operating in Germany, the award for German investments in Sweden is a long-standing tradition.

From the Jury’s Statement: OHB stands for innovation, technical excellence, and reliability. Through its subsidiary OHB Sweden AB, the company has become a key partner in Sweden’s space sector. OHB Sweden’s success reflects the dynamic growth of Sweden’s space industry—from innovation hubs in Kista to advanced satellite solutions deployed in international programs. By investing in research, development, and local expertise, OHB enhances technological competitiveness and creates high-quality jobs in Sweden.

Marco Fuchs, CEO of OHB SE, commented: “We are delighted to receive this award, which recognizes our commitment to collaboration with Sweden. With OHB Sweden, we contribute significantly to European space activities and strengthen Europe’s technological sovereignty. Our recent investment in new cleanrooms and offices in Kista underscores the positive development of our activities in Sweden. My heartfelt thanks go to our employees in both countries, whose passion and expertise make this success story possible.”
