Sydney, October 1, 2025 – A significant milestone for OHB System AG at the IAC: The space company has been honored by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) with the “Excellence in Industry” Award in the category “Large Companies.” With this award, the IAF recognizes companies that set global benchmarks through innovative space technologies.
Chiara Pedersoli, Chairwoman of the Executive Board of OHB System AG, accepted the award in person at the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in Sydney. In her acceptance speech, she emphasized the central role of the company’s employees:
“Spaceflight is teamwork, and of course our greatest thanks go to our employees. The commitment, passion, and hard work they put into every project are incredible, and none of this would be possible without them.”
In its official statement, the IAF highlighted OHB System AG’s successful introduction of innovative space technologies to the global market and its outstanding performance in the industrial sector.
