OHB System AG, a subsidiary of OHB SE (Prime Standard; ISIN: DE0005936124), signed a contract today with the German Aerospace Center (DLR) Space Administration worth EUR 310.5 million for the national Heinrich Hertz satellite mission. In addition to the scientific and technical mission component commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) (which is leading the overall mission), this telecommunications satellite of the Heinrich Hertz mission will also carry an operational communications payload for the German Armed Forces as part of a cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Defense (BMVg).
