OHB AG is publishing the following preliminary and unaudited figures for the 2014 fiscal year:
- Total revenue stands at EUR 770 million (guidance: >EUR 700 million)
- EBITDA of approximately EUR 53 million (guidance: >EUR 56 million)
- EBIT of approximately EUR 40 million (guidance: >EUR 39 million)
- EPS of approximately EUR 1.50
Total revenue for the 2014 fiscal year is approximately 10% higher than previously expected due to increased subcontracting services. EBITDA will be lower than expected due to effects related to the deconsolidation of Aerotech Peissenberg (ATP) in May 2014. However, the deconsolidation had a positive impact on EBIT.
EBIT is expected to come in at around EUR 40 million, slightly above expectations. EBIT for the “Space Systems” division will be below the prior-year figure due to lower earnings contributions from satellite projects, while EBIT for the “Aerospace + Industrial Products” division will exceed the prior-year figure, primarily due to an improvement at MT Aerospace AG. Other operating income from the sale of a minority stake is contributing to the strong EBIT result. EPS is expected to rise to approximately EUR 1.50 due to the improved EBIT and positive tax effects.
OHB AG’s audited 2014 consolidated financial statements will be discussed in detail at the upcoming earnings press conference on the morning of March 19, 2015, in Bremen, and at the analyst meeting following it at 2:00 p.m. on the same day in Frankfurt am Main.
