OHB System AG's proposal for 8 additional satellites for the European Galileo navigation system has been selected by the ESA

Ad hoc announcement pursuant to Article 17 of the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR)

Bremen, April 27, 2017

OHB System AG, a subsidiary of OHB SE (Prime Standard; ISIN: DE0005936124), was informed in a letter from the European Space Agency (ESA) that its bid for the construction and testing of eight additional FOC satellites for the European satellite navigation system Galileo had been selected. A contract for the order cannot be concluded until after the so-called blackout period ends on May 7; until then, objections to the award decision could be raised.

OHB System AG is already the prime contractor for the construction of 22 satellites in the system to date.
