With this award, the IAF recognizes companies that set global standards with innovative space technologies. Chiara Pedersoli, CEO of OHB System AG, accepted the award in person at the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in Sydney and emphasized the central role of the employees in her acceptance speech:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSpace exploration is a team effort, and of course our deepest gratitude goes to our employees. The dedication, passion, and hard work they put into every project are incredible, and without all of that, it wouldn\u2019t be possible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In its statement, the IAF highlights in particular the successful introduction of innovative space technologies to the international market, as well as the outstanding achievements of OHB System AG in the industrial sector.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">OHB will have a booth at the IAC in the German Pavilion, Hall 1, Booth 704.1<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About the IAF and its members<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">OHB is one of more than 560 members of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF). These members come from 81 countries and include space agencies, companies, institutes, associations, societies, and museums.
