Robert Wethmar, born in 1961, studied law at the University of Hamburg and completed his studies in 1988 with the first state examination. He then completed his legal clerkship at the Berlin Court of Appeal, where he passed the second state examination in 1991. Robert Wethmar then pursued a Master of Laws degree at New York University and was admitted to the bar in the State of New York in 1993. Robert Wethmar has been practicing law in Hamburg since 1993 and has been a partner at the international law firm Taylor Wessing there since 1997. His practice focuses on advising on cross-border M&A transactions and joint ventures, as well as providing corporate law advice to medium-sized and large family-owned businesses. He advises national and international companies in technology sectors (such as aerospace, information technology, medical technology, and biotechnology) as well as in the consumer goods industry.<\/p>\n

In addition, Robert Wethmar, who was born in the Netherlands, has served as Honorary Consul of the Netherlands in Hamburg since 2010.<\/p>\n

Ingo Kramer, born in 1953, served as managing director of the family-owned company J. Heinr. Kramer in Bremerhaven from 1982 to 2018; since then, he has been a partner in the firm. A graduate in industrial engineering, he served as president of the Confederation of German Employers\u2019 Associations (BDA) from November 2013 to November 2020. Kramer is well known in Bremen and the surrounding region for his roles as long-time president of the business associations in the state of Bremen (2002\u20132016) and president of the Nordmetall employers\u2019 association (2007\u20132013). He is also a member of the supervisory board of the Pensions-Sicherungs-Verein Versicherungsverein auf Gegenseitigkeit in Cologne.<\/p>\n

Dr. Hans K\u00f6nigsmann, born in 1963, studied aerospace engineering at the Technical University of Berlin. He then pursued his doctoral studies at the University of Bremen, where he received his Ph.D. in aerospace and production technology in 1995. As part of his doctoral work, he worked at the Center for Applied Space Technology and Microgravity (ZARM) at the University of Bremen on the Bremsat small satellite, which was developed in close collaboration with OHB. From 2002 to 2021, he worked for the U.S. company Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX). As Vice President of the company, he held various leadership roles in the development of the Falcon 1 and Falcon 9 launch vehicles, the Dragon spacecraft, and the Starlink constellation, as well as in human spaceflight initiatives. He possesses outstanding expertise in the field of space technology, particularly regarding satellite technology and launch vehicles.<\/p>\n

Dr. Theodor Weimer, born in 1959, studied economics, business administration, and geography at the University of T\u00fcbingen and the University of St. Gallen. He subsequently earned his doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) from the University of Bonn. He is married and the father of two daughters.<\/p>\n

Dr. Weimer began his professional career in 1988 as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. In 1995, he moved to Bain & Company, where he rose to the position of senior partner and member of the Global Management Committee. This was followed by a seven-year stint as managing director and partner at Goldman Sachs.<\/p>\n

Between 2007 and 2017, Dr. Weimer held senior positions within the UniCredit Group, including Head of Global Investment Banking, Executive Chairman of Global Investment Banking at Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank AG, and, from 2009 through the end of 2017, Chairman of the Executive Board of HypoVereinsbank \/ UniCredit Bank AG.<\/p>\n

From 2018 to 2024, he served as CEO of Deutsche B\u00f6rse AG, the largest stock exchange in the European Union. In recognition of his work in this role, he was named \u201cManager of the Year\u201d by Manager Magazin in 2022.<\/p>\n

Dr. Weimer has served as an executive advisor at KKR since 2025 and has been supporting the company with investments and partnerships in Germany ever since<\/p>\n

Raimund Wulf, born in 1966, studied at the Frankfurt School of Finance in Paderborn and Munich, graduating in 1994 with a degree in Banking and Finance (BA). From 1990 to the end of 1999, Raimund Wulf was responsible for various capital market transactions and tech IPOs in the investment banking division of HypoVereinsbank. From 2000 to 2010, he was responsible\u2014most recently as Managing Director\u2014for a wide range of capital market transactions at Sal. Oppenheim in the technology sector and other sectors; among other things, he oversaw the IPO of OHB Teledata AG and the merger process with OHB System AG, now OHB SE. In addition, he served as Sal. Oppenheim\u2019s investment banking coordinator for primary market activities in Austria. Until joining VOLPAIA Beteiligungs-GmbH in early 2023, Mr. Wulf spent 12 years at UniCredit as a key account manager responsible for equity and debt financing for companies and entrepreneurs. His work focused on developing customized financing solutions for publicly traded corporations and privately held corporate groups in the technology and media sectors.<\/p>\n
