Successful TEXUS-51‎ Mission

Unmanned sounding rocket TEXUS-51 was launched from the isolated launch site ESRANGE in Kiruna in northern Sweden on April 23, 2015 at 09:35 CEST. TEXUS missions focus primarily on exploring the properties and behavior of materials, chemicals and biological substances under weightless conditions (microgravitation).

Galileo FOC* Satellites “Adam and Anastasia” successfully launched

“Adam” and “Anastasia”, the two Galileo FOC* satellites number three and four developed and built by OHB System AG, were successfully launched on board a Soyuz rocket, which lifted off from the Kourou space center in French-Guyana yesterday at 22:46 hours CET.
They reached their planned orbit at an altitude of around 23,000 kilometers just under four hours later, shortly after they sent their first “sign of life” to the French Space Control Center of CNES in Toulouse. Over the next few days, the two satellites will be undergoing preliminary function testing.

OHB AG converted into OHB SE

Following the entry in the commercial register, OHB AG has officially adopted the legal structure of a Societas Europaea and is therefore now known as OHB SE.
The shareholders had previously passed a resolution in July 2014 approving this change in corporate status. OHB SE’s registered offices and headquarters will remain in Bremen. As a result of the change in corporate status, the previous shareholders have automatically become shareholders in OHB SE; accordingly, there is no change in their shareholder status.
