LARES satellite successfully launched into orbit on board of the first Vega launcher

The LARES satellite (LAser Relativity Satellite) developed by prime contractor CGS Compagnia Generale per lo Spazio, a subsidiary of OHB Group, has been successfully launched from Kourou,  French Guyana, on board Vega’s maiden flight today at 11.00 am CET.

OHB AG announcing provisional unaudited figures for 2011 and providing preliminary guidance for 2012

According to the provisional figures, total revenues rose by around 24% in 2011 to around EUR 560 million, up roughly EUR 107 million on the previous year. At a preliminary figure of EUR 41 million, operating result EBITDA will exceed the previous year's figure by more than EUR 7 million.
